Cante, Palmas & Jaleos Workshop with Manuel Tañe

070929 2007 Flamenco Festival - Waterfront Theatre 20-36-44-3

Flamenco Rosario is delighted to announce that Manuel Tañe will be in Vancouver in February to host workshops at the Centro Flamenco Studio (102-2083 Alma Street, Vancouver BC)!

From the cradle of flamenco “cante”: Jerez de la Frontera, Manuel Tañe was born in to the legendary families of the “Moneo”, “Carpio” and “Chalao”. Artists and critics have labeled his singing as “wild” and his way of expressing flamenco has an ancestral attraction, an atavistic sense seldom heard. He has worked with great artists such as, Manuela Carrasco, Manuela Carpio, Antonio el Pipa, Concha Vargas and Soraya Clavijo to name a few. A regular Flamenco Rosario guest artists, his voice has never failed to touch the hearts of Vancouver’s flamenco aficionados. Manuel is a guest artist for Flamenco Rosario’s new work “Quadrilogue Affective“.
